Scrap-booking?

(First time scrap-booker!) I'm planning on making one for me & my fiancee. But its a surprise. Its mainly of pictures of our mom's who have passed away. He has most of his pictures in a zip-lock bag, and I think that they deserve a better place so that people could enjoy looking at them, as well as him from time to time.
Do you have any tips & advice that you can give me?
Is there any good websites that I can check out?
What are some categories that I could use?
And what are some good titles?

Please help! I want to start soon!
Thanks =]

You can try creativememories.com (they're the people that do the "shows" for scrapbooking, like Pampered Chef but with scrapbook stuff), and there are supplies on ebay.com. But, I would try to find a store in your area. The one by me has an area in the back with a bunch of supplies you may not keep at home, and you can sit back there and do your scrapbook, use their supplies, and ask the salespeople there for help and suggestions. Not to mention, if you do need to buy paper or other decorations for the book, you're in the store to do it! Hope this helps!

    Try this website and or walk around craft shops for ideas. Good luck, I think that it is a good idea and I am sure he will like it.

    the titles will have to do with the pics, so you're the best judge of that.
    Try different pictures with different mat paper until you get a look you like. Put 2 or 3 related pics on a page. You can do more pics depending on the story they tell. Journal each page. Include the date on each page. Try to keep the photos the main point of interest, not the paper and embellishments.
