Can you use super glue to do scrap booking?

Will it hurt the pictures? I can get a bunch of super glue from my work and I like to scrapbook, but will it eventually ruin everyhting as far as ageing? I would like to pass them on eventaully.
NO! I am not just taking it from work! They scrap alot of stuff because the packaging is messed up or they have expired so they can't sell them to customers!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh NO!!! Liquid super glue is going to seep right through the photos
Use only acid free adhesive. I wouldn't use a glue stick at all. It drys up and everything falls off. This happen to my SIL and her album was only a year old.

Try a two way tape runner. Even Wal Mart sells them. Look in the scrapbook department. Hobby Lobby has them at 50% quite often.

If you are going to take the time and money to make a scrapbook and want to hand it down do it right.

I wouldn't take the chance since your photos are obviously important to you. It might change the chemical composition of the photo and you wouldn't be able to remove the pictures from the album if you ever need to.

hmmm I don't know.. I have only used stick glue or glue dots… I have seen some people use some different kinds of glues and it changed the colors of the picture on the other side… I guess you just have to ask yourself do you want to chance it with your pictures to test it out.. cause I know some glues actually ruin pictures.

don't use it to glue photos; it will eventually ruin them. You could use the super glue for things such as ribbons or other decorative items, though. It won't ruin these kind of things.Just make sure you don't get the glue on the photos. But for photos you will have to use an acid free glue formulated for photos if you want them to last.

Are you just taking the super glue from your work? Cuz that's not right.
Spring for a proper glue stick that says it's ok for scrapbooking. It's cheap. Especially if you use a 40% off coupon. :)

NO, the super glue will eventually eat through your pictures. For scrapbooking only use acid free adhesives. Super glue will damage your pictures and your scrapbooks.

I'm sorry that you can't use them, they would destroy your pictures and your scrapbooks. Use it for other things in your house.

Super glue works on some surfaces and not on other surfaces. I would not use it for my work. You are better with a white glue.

And don't worry about the life of the items, it will outlife you no matter which glue you use. And when I am dead and gone I'm not going to care anymore.

Using super glue is a bad bad idea. It will eventually yellow the pictures and will soak through the pages. Not to mention if you're anything like me you are going to glue yourself to someone….lol but that's another story!!
