Does anyone know what this scrapbooking tool is?

There is a tool that I saw being demonstrated at a scrapbooking store about 4 years ago, and I have no idea what it is so I can buy it. Maybe someone can help me.
It's a pen that when you write with it, then let it dry, it becomes this raised writing, kind of like when you feel writing on a wedding invitation-like embossed. You didn't have to heat it or anything, and you had to write slow with it. Thats all I remember. If anyone knows what this is, I'd appreciate it!!
No, it is NOT a regular embossing pen- you don't have to use heat for this and there's no powder or anything.

Maybe you saw one of these: New Soufflé™ 3D Ink Pen (Glazed 3-D Pens Raised Writing Scrapbooking Sakura)

I need your ideas for a wedding reception poster!

Next week, I will be attending a family member’s wedding. At the wedding reception there will be a photobooth and a scrapbooking table where a scrapbook will be put together of all the guests that attended for the bride and groom to keep as a wedding memoir.

I am in charge of the photobooth, and I will be making 2 posters:

1) To put up on the photobooth
2) To put on the scrapbooking table

Does anyone have ideas (such as slogans or funny/quirky messages) that I could put on either of the 2 posters?
Some points to clarify:

A) The posters are meant to attract people to the photobooth and the scrapbooking table

B) The poster that goes on the scrapbooking table is meant to inform them what they should now do with their pictures (i.e. "Take your pictures and be creative" kind of a thing)
Another point to clarify:

Once a person/group is finished taking the 4 photobooth pictures, they proceed to this table (very creatively named "The Scrapbooking Table") where there will be supplies (i.e. scrapbooking markers and scissors) so that they can put together a scrapbooking page using the pictures they took. By the end of the wedding, there will be a book full of scrapbooking pages and thus, the guests will have put together a scrapbook to give to the bride & groom as a wedding memoir.

I don’t quite understand what you are doing, but I think you are trying to encourage people to enter the photobooth to have their picture taken, and then you will put the pictures in the scrapbook. I think you want to encourage folks to get their picture taken.

I would have a big sign that says, “SAY CHEESE” with a picture of two cartoon people together with smiles as wide as their faces. That will get the point across.

Now, for the scrapbooking table, I have no idea what this is so I cannot help you on that one.

But, have fun. You can also offer yourself to stand in with any single men who may need a pretty woman to take their picture with.

WEDDING INVITATON DELIMA WITH IN-LAWS?

my fiance and i have made a mockup of what we want our invite to look like. his mother recommended her sister in law to do the invites since she does scrapbooking and is doing his sister’s invites for her wedding as well. HOWEVER his aunt wants to do our invites as our wedding present and is doing the same for his sister. now im portuguese and in my culture my parents are the ones who pay for a good portion of the wedding including inivites and i want to pay for the materials for the inivites but his aunt told me on the phone that no she wanted them as our wedding present!
invitations to me is not a wedding gift im not going to use my invite again and im not going to frame it so what would i do with that gift.. im giving to other people, including her and her husband! i told her on the phone that i didn’t want to do that but my fiance looked at me and said come on, so i walked out of the room and we made an appointment to pick out materials..
now the more and more i think about it i get more angry at myself for not standing up!

What do I do? Do i let her make my invitations as my wedding gift and have her freeload at the wedding, or do i tell my fiance i don’t like it and have him get angry at me as well as his mother and go somewhere else for invitations and have his aunt give us money for our wedding?

PLEASE HELP!!

not to be rude but i think your alittle bit of a bridezilla. i know when you first start planning everything has to be perfect trust me ive been through it! but eventually you wont give a crap so dont sweat the small stuff! good luck

wedding/love themed scrapbook?

Okay- first tell me if this is cheesy,

I love scrapbooks, i think they're so cute and I was thinking for my sisters wedding shower to put together mini scrapbooks for the tables with pictures of her and her fiance. I love them more than printed picture books because you can personalize/detail them as much as you want.

Does anyone have any examples or ideas of what I could include? Maybe a cute quote or poem?

I'm totally new to the world of scrapbooking so anything will be helpful! thanks!

Whether or not it's cheesy depends upon the quality of the work you do. I think it's an idea worth pursuing if you are willing to do it up right.

You might find it a lot easier to do just ONE scrapbook that is on display for everyone. Doing one for every table seems a bit redundant and like a lot of work. In order to turn out a high quality product, you'd probably rather focus that energy on a single book.

Good luck!

How does Rub-On Transfer Paper Work?

I need to make a scrapbook for a wedding and I've had experience of scrapbooking but I want to make sure that this is professional. I need to print some poems and transfer them to the scrapbook paper and someone told me that Rub-on Transfer paper would work. How does it work if I have to do it at my house? Because how do I get the words on the paper for it? Because I have an already made transfer paper and I don't understand how I can get the words so they appear correctly?

Here's a link to decal paper for use in your home printer. I think it makes a mirror-image though, so check first to make sure…

Good source for scrapbooking ideas?

I'm working on my wedding and daughter's baby album, are there any good websites with ideas?

My favorite site is www.twopeasinabucket.com. They have lots of pages to look at. Mostly though, I get idea books with layouts in them and I get creating Keepsakes Magazine, which gives me tons of ideas. You can order idea books like award winning scrapbook pages on line or pick one up at Michael's or any hobby store.

where can i find a pattern for makeing a plastice canvas wedding scrap book ,for a friend of mine, who is?

to marry in the later part of 08,she loves handmade gifts and scrapbooking so i thought this would be a good gift, thanks for any info

Why don't you get the plastic canvas and some yarn but most of it in white. See if a friend of yours may have some scraps of different colors. Get some graph paper and make up a pattern {their names, date they met, engaged, married or something like that} and then you will find with the plastic canvas you will have to do a half stitch. Anyway stitch what ever you want and then do the rest in the white..I suggested white as it is for the bride. This will personalize it and you can put you initals on the bottom.

Scrapbooking help?

I am just beginning scrapbooking and I am looking for examples of layouts or layouts I might be able to go from. I am doing this of me and my fiance for our wedding to have people look at so just looking for ideas on what I can do. Thanks.

If you are going to just do this one book for now, I would suggest that you get supplies for the whole book that coordinate. That way you can use all the same supplies on the one book and the out of pocket expense can be controlled better.

Not only should you pick out some pictures to add to this page, but also consider having you both express how you felt about the first meeting on the page as well.

Idea #2 - A Page of Advice - Another of the many scrapbooking ideas , is to allow everyone at the at the wedding to offer a bit of advice. Pass around a page for everyone to add their advice to, and then you can add it later to your scrapbook. Idea #3 - Use the Wedding Memorabilia - Do you have a nice collection of memorabilia from your wedding? If you do, then you may want to use them for your books. You can take pressed flowers, confetti, favors, and more and use them throughout the entire scrapbook instead of having to go out and purchase embellishments for the book. Also, you may want to have special pages for the invitations, the lists of guests.

Idea #4 - Don’t Forget to Journal - It’s a great idea to journal about your thoughts, feelings, details, or ideas. Later these can be used as scrapbooking ideas.
